SOLO Exhibition: "Peripheral Dialogues": Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, Fort Myers Florida, May 1 - May 28, 2026.
This ensemble of over 25 new and recent paintings, is a collective tapestry of work that expresses the imagined conversations and fantastical imagery that live in the slipstream between the conscious and unconscious mind. These dialogues float in the blurred edges of our imagination, offering unlimited possibilities and wondrous stories.
“Peripheral Dialogues”, a full-circle installation, integrates a new body of original paintings created for this show with numerous recent works. It also presents custom, large-scale ‘dialogue banners’ adapted from Kathleen’s recent book of poetry, Inhabiting Bliss. The exhibition, in its entirety, weaves the written word and visual stories together in hopes of inspiring new dialogues and sparking imaginative possibilities. —Kathleen Kinkopf
