Not a typical commission. These paintings are not copies of photos. They are extremely personalized and customized paintings that evolve through detailed dialogue with the client. Several rounds of pencil sketches and regular communication with the client create the perfect foundation and ‘final map’ for the actual painting.
Commission experience. I have created dozens of commissions in various sizes and complexities. I love working with clients directly to create a unique and personalized visual story that represents their life, an experience, or even a beloved pet. These pieces are imaginative but reflect the true character, passions, or personality of the honored individual. My commercial illustration experience has given me the capability to work through the approval stage, to communicate clearly, and to deliver a meaningful, beautiful, and personal work of art, well above expectations.
